A good reason to make sure that the person repairing your windshield knows what they are doing. This windshield had been overheated, by probably a cigarette lighter. It still had smoke on the glass. That was done by someone either trying to dry it out or just repair it. They had gotten it so hot it appeared that the vinyl center had melted. Compounding the problem was they over pressured the resin, distorting the damage more.
