Ice Scraper Substitutes 

So the ice has arrived and you don’t have an ice scraper. Here is a list of items that may work, while eliminating scratches.

• Credit Card
• Driver’s License
• CD Case
• A Plastic Jar Lid (Peanut Butter, Mayo,etc.)
• Plastic Kitchen Spatula
• Plastic Putty Knife

Windshield treatments like Rain-X, Aquapel,etc. Will ease ice and snow removal. Note: These must be applied in temperatures above 50. 

Also try table salt to loosen or melt the ice.
